The 4TB Mac mini Pro SSD came in a box, make sure you take the top layer off and underneath reveals tools to help you install the disk, a metal pry to raise the base of the Mac mini and a plastic bit to prize the clips off without damaging anything. There's also a screw driver the the correct T3/T5/T8H heads to unscrew the internal screws to remove the base, fans and the SSD. Swap them out, put everything back together and do a DFU and it all works great. Apple tax removed.
Contact their support for having issues 1st version ssd for m4 pro. They immediately sent replacement and now it works flawlessly. Appreciate their integrity and immediate support.
Would highly recommend and repurchase from them for future clients and friends.
